Damascus blade
This knife is all handmade. The blade is hand forged and made from a recycled chainsaw chain that is forge welded into a solid piece. After the chainsaw chain has become one solid piece its folded around a high-carbon steel, 1770 steel, to make the high-carbon steel the core of the blade. The blade is then etched to bring out the beautiful and unique pattern.
The handle is hand carved out of curly birch and dyed with dark brown stain with a linseed oil coating. Same goes with the leather sheath. Sewn by hand, dyed with dark brown stain and with a linseed oil coating.
Measurements:
- Blade: 74 mm long, 17 mm width and 3,5 mm thick
- Handle: 115 mm long, 35 mm at widest point and 26 mm at the thickest point.

All products are made to order and have a 1-3 week processing time plus shipping time.

Care information
I recommend keeping the product away from water and moisture. It has a protective layer of linseed oil so if it gets wet no harm is done, just wipe it off and let it dry. The best protection and care is to use the product daily :)
Outdoor use: Depending on the environment it will be used it you might want to re-apply a protective layer of oil or wax on a regular basis.
