This blacksmith's knife is forged by hand with traditional methods.
Handmade knife. The blade is hand forged and laminated/ San-Mai blade, meaning that it is mild steel that is folded around a high-carbon steel (80crv2) to make the high-carbon steel the core of the blade. The handle has a coating of beeswax and linseed oil mix.
Care Recommendations: To preserve the pendant’s finish, avoid direct exposure to water and moisture. It has a protective linseed oil layer, so if it does get damp, just wipe it off and let it dry.
Outdoor Use: For outdoor wear, consider reapplying a light coat of oil or wax occasionally to maintain its protection, especially in changing environments. Regular use helps enhance the pendant's character over time.
