The old man nodded. "Not just a mark. A guide. This symbol has seen countless storms, lit the way through endless nights. It reminds those who wander that the North never forgets its own."
"Does it lead home?"
"No," the old man said, his eyes fixed on the distant horizon. "It leads to where you’re meant to go."
